We're Hiring: Systems Integration Developer – Make an Impact in Healthcare!

At Medplus Solutions, we’re looking for a Systems Integration Developer who is ready to build powerful connections—between systems and people.

In this role, you’ll lead the seamless integration of healthcare systems, ensuring that vital information flows where it’s needed most. This is more than code—it’s care delivery at its finest.

What You’ll Do:


  • Analyze business and technical requirements to design and implement robust system integrations.
  • Develop and maintain integrations across platforms using REST APIs, ETL tools, and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or SQL.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on internal data flows, application behavior, and external system interactions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable integration solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure continuous system performance.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all integration processes.
  • Assist in system upgrades, data migrations, and application enhancements.
  • Develop automation tools to streamline workflows and reduce manual tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare regulatory standards.

Minimum requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.

Experience:

▪ 3+ years in systems integration, preferably in a healthcare or pharmacy setting.

▪ 2+ years working with healthcare systems (EHRs, pharmacy platforms, or similar).

▪ Solid understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and compliance practices (HIPAA).

Technical Skills:

▪ Proficient in REST API development, scripting (Python, PowerShell, SQL), and ETL processes.

▪ Experience with relational databases and query optimization.

▪ Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

▪ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

▪ Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.

▪ Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
